At Torreense Portuguese Market, Paulo and Julie are deeply passionate about sharing the rich culinary heritage of Portugal. Through a carefully selected range of curated culinary items and authentic flavours and kitchen decor and cookware—from traditional spices and sauces to the finest seafood—our mission is to connect you with the true tastes that define Portuguese cuisine.

Paulo Neves stays completely true to his Portuguese roots, personally sourcing the best products and taking pride in tasting absolutely everything before it hits our market shelves.  He wakes up everyday thinking about “what’s for dinner”.

A New Addition is Coming Soon!

Right now, we are in the midst of curating the finest foods, kitchen pottery and cookware, an espresso and simply darn good coffee for a very special new experience coming soon to Torreense. This will be lead by our Torreense next in line generation, carefully done and authentic.  Our goal is to create a space for everyone to slow down, savour and get inspired to cook and spend quality time with your family at home. People getting back to their roots, this is what we do everyday and we are committed to be as authentic as Portugal and helping you feel it in your heart.  We believe life does not need to be complicated; it just needs a pause once in a while to enjoy the simple things around a dinner table with family.
